Good food, low prices, easy mobility, and a diversity of cultures with related histories. I grew up in Asia and had the fortune to visit dozens of countries in the area. Half the world’s population is accessible with a five-hour flight from Hong Kong, yet those who live on one end of the five-hour radius couldn’t be more different from those living on the other end.
