I spent two years living, working, and studying in Europe. As a quasi-tourist-resident, I travelled on its extensive railway network to explore the similarities and differences of neighbouring countries. It was strange to be able to make sense of signs while no knowing the language, confusing to eat food that looked familiar but tasted different, and mind blowing to like histories through museums.
