Its not just a place for kids, it’s a place for teens and adults and babies, too. Best of all, the parking is free. It has everything from the cells in your veins to the stars in the sky. It even has a history section on the first floor.
I caught the Antarctic Dinosaurs exhibit and saw some of the bones that uncovered unique species in the area. Even back then, Dinosaurs also had to deal with the south pole’s long summer days and long winter nights. They even let you touch the spine of a partially exposed dinosaur bone still in the rock.
There are a lot of hands-on activities but also plenty of scientific interpretation. I was just disappointed that I couldn’t find a taxidermied buffalo… in Buffalo.
