After looking at galleries of old world art and last century American art, it’s nice to be in a space where the building’s physical layout makes sense. The logical donut shape makes it easy to navigate between galleries and levels.
If you’re not a big fan of modern art like me, it’ll take about a half hour before you leave disappointed. There are too many photographs, not enough indoor sculptures, and few pieces that social culturally make sense to Americans without reading every single interpretive sign.
I might enjoy it if only they would call it something definitive like the other museums.
