A museum housed in a colonial-era building

KL is the capital of a kingdom in Southeast Asia, this in itself warrants a visit to the colorful city. Although its not as convenient or well-planned as Singapore, it is very internationalized in itself. You could eat rice noodles in an alley for breakfast, have a coffee in a museum housed in a colonial-era building, and enjoy dinner in a huge shopping mall with all the pleasures of air conditioning.

The famed twin towers

My favorite thing to do at night is to enjoy the colorful water fountain show in front of the Petronas Twin Towers. Enjoy this power symbol of money from big oil with hundreds of locals in the adjacent open area. Sure, cubs and bars are nice, but I’m not exactly the kind if guy that likes to get drunk while on holiday.

If you’re driving there, parking is readily available but expensive. Highways are also abundant, but poorly designed. So poorly designed that I went the wrong way on a dual carriageway due to a lack of signage and had to use u-turn lanes multiple times because the roads don’t connect to opposite sides.
