Comfort
European domestic business class has always been a step below Asian and North American domestic equivalents. The middle seat is blocked for more elbow space and guaranteeing each passenger one socket. There are only two sockets for every three seats in this 3-3 layout cabin.

My seat in row 1 had the most legroom and I got almost two windows to the row. The only downside is that bags must be stored in the overhead bin for takeoff and landing, necessitating an extra step to use your laptop while in flight.

Entertainment
There were no seat-back screens and no in-flight wifi. The magazine, while informative, can be read in the time it takes to board economy passengers.

Food
Breakfast came in a three-course format and the full range of alcoholic drinks was available for order. The first course was cold cuts with cheese, followed by an omlette or chocolate toast, and finishing with a free yogurt with berries.

Service
Business class passengers were offered a welcome drink of water or apple juice just before the doors closed.

As usual, LOT service exceeded expectations with tablecloth service for a European domestic flight. While hot meal prep took longer than expected, it was a large meal.

LOT makes me very, very happy. Five stars.
