Star Alliance and Canadian carriers operate out of Terminal 3. It’s a small terminal, but it also means less walking and more time in the lounge since gates are so close together.
Escape Lounge

Available to certain credit card holders and part of both DragonPass and Priority Pass, the Escape Lounge is a small but chic space that operates like a half-service restaurant. The hot food is buffet-style while drinks are served at your table.
The restaurant-style seating is close to the bar and the buffet but less comfortable. I preferred the window seats where I could work on a cafe-style table while looking out at the terminal corridor and the Sonoma Desert. Breakfast was tasty but lacked protein options.
United Club

While the direct view of the apron and control tower is nice, the breakfast options are very limited. The only hot food option was scrambled egg. The bar is open in the morning and there is a gelato machine, so I had a drink and an ice cream at 9 am. The only thing that still tastes sweet after ice cream is pineapple juice.
There are plenty of seats with electrical outlets for business travellers to stay productive on the go and armchairs by the window for leisure travellers. Access is available to eligible Star Alliance customers.
