Flat now as it was a hundred years ago, the town’s low density hasn’t changed for decades. This makes Sioux Falls friendly for the wallet and calm to drive in. Famous for the falls on the Big Sioux River that gives the town it’s name, parking is free at the falls park and like Lake Itasca, the river is just a couple of feet away.
After a morning feasting my eyes on the beautiful river it was time to feast on American fried chicken. The local KFC has an offer for all-you-can eat chicken and sides, how could I pass it up? The freshly fried chicken in a traditional-looking iconic American chain was worth every penny of the $14.99 I paid.
My visit was swell!
