Comfort: The economy class seats on Ember aircraft are usually slightly wider than on the B737 and A320 as it’s only 2-2 instead of 3-3, so the 1-2 first class seat width isn’t a big deal for those of us who aren’t too fat. The legroom, however, is where the difference lies; I was able to fit my backpack under the seat and have enough room to stretch my feet. While I usually prefer the single seat on the left, the aisle seat on the right has a moveable armrest, making the seat less constrictive.
In-flight entertainment: There were no seat back screens, but movies and TV shows were available through the United app when connected to in-flight wi-fi. United offers free Starlink satellite wifi to loyalty members on some flights.
Food: The short flight had a snack basket service and drinks. So many people slept on this early morning flight that those who were awake could have two snacks each.
Service: Service was excellent. I was offered a pre-departure drink after I boarded and the flight attendant made sure my cup of Coke Zero was always filled.
