After visiting both Edmonton and Calgary, I can say with absolute certainty that Calgary is the better city. It was just before 10am on a Sunday when I witnessed a homeless man do an explosive poo in front of the National Music Centre. The police arrived swiftly to arrest him for public defection. The brown trail of indigestion led from the museum entrance to the curb where the police took him into custody. Calgary is still better – that speaks volumes about Edmonton.
But enough about Edmonton in a post about Calgary. Calgary itself is a pretty fun city if you skip downtown. Studio Bell is the most entertained and engaged non-music lovers can ever be, children and seniors alike get excited riding a steam train at Calgary Heritage Park, and the many military units in Alberta have exhibitions in Calgary.
