There’s no shortage of venerated academic institutions in Massachusetts. There’s Harvard, Northeastern, Berklee, and MIT. One of the first things I noticed when I arrived at the Boston MIT campus was the name of their bus stop: 1 Harvard Square. I wonder if Harvard has a building located on 1 MIT Square?
Public institutions are really awesome, not just because of their grand architecture but also because visitors can freely roam the corridors of knowledge and explore content on the walls in inspiration. When visiting, you absolutely have to go to the Killian Court to take a photo at the iconic symmetrical colonnade on their main building.
The northeastern (no pun intended) end of campus is home to MIT’s Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory designed by famous architect Frank Gehry. Other iconic Gehry works can be found in Hannover and Los Angeles among other global locations.
