Comfort
The wide armchairs are equivalent to North America domestic business even though it’s branded as premium economy. I sat in the bulkhead with generous legroom. I’m 170cm tall and the tips of my toes just touch the wall in front of me.
The recline is comfortable and the headrest features movable wings. However, the headrest height mechanism was broken on my seat. The tray table folds out in a half or full table configuration, with a tablet stand available in the half configuration. A downside is the lack of storage, Air Canada domestic business class has a laptop holder in the armrest while WestJet premium only has a small net for personal items.

Entertainment
WiFi is free for all WestJet Rewards members. It’s fast enough for YouTube in HD, though that could just be because my flight was mostly empty. There is no in-flight entertainment like movies or TV shows.
Two points of improvement: let premium passengers use free WiFi without logging in, and don’t require a second login to the WestJet site after they’ve already logged in to the WiFi through the browser portal.
Service
There’s a small bottle of water at every seat at boarding and the flight attendant came around to take everyone’s drinks order shortly before takeoff service was prompt, courteous and polite. Passengers got a snack like a chocolate bar, chips or a bag of peanuts. For the price and WestJet’s market position, it’s perfectly fine.
