Imitation: 4/10 Paprika is there, but the garlic isn’t.
Desirability: 3/10 Not spicy enough.
Crunch: 7/10 The bowl-like shape makes it crunchy but not thick enough for satisfying resistance.
Appearance: 8/10 Red for the paprika checks out, the the lack of anything that might hint at garlic makes this nearly indistinguishable from BBQ.
Total: 22/40 The taste doesn’t live up to the exciting name.
Honey Dijon
Imitation: 4/10 There’s definitely dijon mustard sweetness, but the honey isn’t there.
Desirability: 7/10 It’s an interesting and rare flavour.
Crunch: 8/10 The potato skin edges makes it crunchier on the sides than the middle.
Appearance: 4/10 Could’ve done with some dijon mustard seeds.
Total: 23/40 Good party choice, but it wouldn’t be a staple in my household.
Sweet Ghost Pepper
Imitation: 10/10 It’s spicy.
Desirability: 10/10 A treat for the mouth after so many bland flavours.
Crunch: 5/10 Average, a little too thin for my liking, All Natural does a much better job.
Appearance: 6/10 It should look redder for how spicy it is.
Total: 31/40 I’ll come back to this again.
